Management

The organization of the Kodutütred is a structural unit of the Defence League, headed by the Chief Head of the Kodutütred. Ave Proos has been the chief head since 2018.

The highest governing body of the organization is the Central Assembly, which consists of the chief head of the Kodutütred, the assistant to the head chief nominated by the head chief and one adult youth leader elected by the Kodutütred Assembly of the chiefs for three years. The candidate for a member of the central management board is nominated by the board of the Kodutütred regional division.

Under the direct supervision of the Kodutütred chief head, there are volunteer regional elders, who govern the activities of youth leaders in the Kodutütred’ regional divisions. The highest governing body of the region is the Regional Assembly of the Kodutütred, which includes regional and group chiefs and their assistants. The governing body of the Kodutütred regional division is the regional board, which includes the regional elder, their assistant, and three youth leaders elected by the regional assembly for three years.

The regional elder is responsible for regional chiefs, group chiefs and their assistants. The governing body of the regional division is the board of the division, which consists of the head of the division, their assistant and three youth leaders elected from the regional assembly for three years.

The group of Kodutütred is led by the group chief, and the group and team chief, elected from among the young members, who respectively organize the group and the team activity under the guidance of the group elder. The group elder and chief may also have assistant.

In the region, the daily work of the regional elder and regional division is supported by a paid youth instructor, who receives instructions and tasks from the headmistress of the Kodutütred.
